Product Description
This product contains Albuterol, a short-acting 2-adrenergic receptor agonist, in a liquid solution for research use and experimentation. The tertiary butyl group in albuterol makes it more selective for 2-receptors. The chemical is found as a racemic mixture mainly because the S isomer blocks metabolism pathways while the R isomer shows activity. A calibrated dropper is provided with each bottle to assure accurate measurement.
Each bottle contains 30ml solution at 4 milligrams (mg) per milliliter (mL) - in etOH/ H2O (Ethyl Alcohol and Water). The total amount of Albuterol per 30ml bottle is 120mg which is in solution and does not require to be shaken or stirred prior to administration. Accurate concentrations of Albuterol at the amounts listed above will remain stable in the etOH/H2O solution for the amount of time listed until product expiration.
Storage Information: Room temperature.
The solution does not require to be stored in refrigerator or freezer to preserve shelf life. The solution may be stored at room temperature and remains stable at the above listed concentration effective until the expiration date listed on the bottle. The product will still remain active after the date of expiration but the concentrations and/or activity of the Albuterol can not be guaranteed to remain in tact after the listed expiration date.
WARNING
Albuterol is a very potent chemical. This product is NOT for human use and can be harmful if ingested.
